2015 Review (1): Intro

We are approaching the days between the years (both New Year’s Eve and Christmas included), hopefully a period of calmness, relaxation, and some blogging.

I’m looking forward to this season when time seems to stand still (I know it won’t, this year either), and I’m also looking forward to making blogging amends for some of the stuff I’ve missed this year.

Stay tuned for a modest 2015 review.

  1. Much too much snow here to appear modest…;-)…
All the best, for now, inbetween the years and further on!

  5. @DvW: Yes, the snowfall should end on January 1, if I remember that correctly.
@KT: Same to you! Cats are actually quite tolerant and don’t mind some abuse as long as they’ve got twa wee birdies by dinnertime.

  6. Looking forward to a more peaceful 2016, too (rather sure that it won`t be, too, but we should try hard). This is bringing back to mind an “auld receipt” for the days coming:

    Should auld acquaintance be forgot
    And never brought to mind?
    Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
    For auld lang syne
    We’ll take a cup o’kindness yet
    For auld lang syne

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp
    And surely I’ll be mine
    And we’ll tak a cup o’kindness yet
    For auld lang syne…

All the best for you, greets, Diander

  7. And a happy new year to you, to Auerbach, to the Montagfrei connection and to the Weinbeeren.

Happy new year to you, Dame, and to you, King Tubby. Keep blogging, or consider blogging again in 2016. Best wishes to all of you, and to all who might read here.

Diander, here’s the tune to the words:

    Let’s see if it works.

  8. Thanks JR and a happy 2016.

Had quite a few ambitious posts dot-pointed in pencil, but that is as far as they got. And yes, I feel pretty annoyed with myself about it all.

Vollie work in the fire brigade and oldies home is pretty time consuming and my library is providing just so much quality reading.

So confessional here, but it is than giving you a lecture on cat management and wild life.
