Dear Kim Ghattas, there across the English Channel, or the bigger pond:

this is what you wrote in an article about U.S.-Chinese relations today:

China’s reactions so far have been mostly part of its usual repertoire of diplomatic outbursts – expected knee-jerk reactions to key issues that are sensitive to China and against which it must protest.

I agree that China’s reactions so far have been mostly what you say, but issues sensitive to China and against which they must protest?

Aren’t you taking your consideration a bit too far? I mean, no foreign-ministry spokesman or -woman in Beijing has yet unveiled that he or she is suffering from Tourette’s Disorder.

Or did I miss the news?
