Links that get Broken within Days

Link Killers?

Link Killers?

There are some international news websites I usually don’t link to. Seems to me that their pages get removed frequently, maybe in order to save server space. But more recently, I’ve found out that there are other pages too that get lost too soon after linking to them.

Like the patriotic reincarnation theory for example, which I found on December 12, and which was gone soon after Hermit enthusiastically praised it (the broken link is within the text there).

Weird. Last time, it was a link from a Hermit post, too. Both Hermit links pointed to Chinese pages. Coincidence? Or do links from a foreign blog provoke censorship in China?

Is JR facing an ethical question?

Please advise.

Human Rights in China: Mixed Messages

Chinese Law Prof Network published an analysis of Liu Xiaobo’s detention, probably in the wake of the publication of the Charter 08.

Another entry of the same day on the same website: lecturer on human rights sought for course at Northeastern Normal University, Changchun.
