Prison suspends Visits by Family Members to Hu Jia

According to Zeng Jinyan’s blog entry today, prison staff has suspended all relatives visits by relatives to Hu Jia for this month, on request of the State Security. The prison staff followed the State Security Police’s demand according to which family visits weren’t conducive to Hu Jia’s “transformation” (改造) and cancelled the meetings which were scheduled for next week.

Ms Zeng’s blog also links to a video with her message yesterday for the Sakharov award ceremony at the European Parliament.
